After months of working hard on a free software reader for the ALS we finally have something to show. We scrapped everything we were doing before with Flash and pumped out a dynamic web site that anyone can freely access. There are still loads of bugs and functions that need to be added but we’ve already gotten great reviews from colleagues and those with disabilities. We hope that more people we begin to use it and give us more feedback. We used php, mysql, ajax, html and javascript to make this possible.
