its been awhile…
ahhh yes….i’ve been MIA again for about a month now. What have i been up to? Well besides watching Manchester United climb the tables back to NUMERO UNO!!!! take that liverpool fans! I’ve been busy snowboarding up in Vermont, breaking my body on trying to throw myself off stupid jumps. I’ve been on vykadine, muscle relaxors and crutches for about 2 weeks and now i’m good to go. I saw ESG live @ LPR a few days ago which rocked!! Some crazy booty shakin by some of the lovely ladies of Emerald Sapphire and Gold. I’ll be posting some footage on my flickr if you fancy a gander. I also finally checked out the DreamHouse on church st. which was uber cool. I will have some photos and footage of that on my flickr as well. I took a nap in that dream house and even stretched my limbs a bit. I enjoyed Mark Price’s show at GlowLab gallery, which was very interesting. By the off chance I stumbled upon the permanent installation of Walter de Maria’s: The Broken Kilometer on west broadway! It was amazing. His work has been on display for over 30 years in Soho. His other piece, located on Wooster St., is called The New York Earth Room It’s not advertised and you would never think there was something totally awesome behind a door just walking down the street. My roommate and I only went in because we liked the door! I tried to sneak a photo but alas I was shut down, which is a shame because it was mesmerizing. The space is incredible but sadly will possibly be forever unavailable. Last but not least…Obama is finally President! Go 2009!
